| CHONGQING is a Central Municipal. It is situated in the Three Gorges reservoir area in the upper reach of the Yangtze River. Chongqing is a picturesque city, with rivers crisscrossing among mountains, the average temperature standing at around 18C. The city has unique weather conditions, with less frost and snow, more cloud and mist, and plenty of rainfall all year round. Chongqing total covers an area of 82,400 square kilometers and has a population of 30.5 million. Economic Development: Chongqing is the largest economic developing municipal in southwestern China. Consequently, the city has formed an economic structure characterized by the co-existence of a huge industrial sector, a huge agricultural sector, a large communications system and a large quantity of circulation.
