ZFUJIAN - Fuzhou is the Capital of Fujian Province lies in the eastern part of the Province and at the lower reaches of Mainjiang River, neighboring Taiwan only by a stripe of water. The city total covers 11,968 square kilometers, and has a population of 5.75 millions. Fuzhou has cultivated land 147,200 hectares and forest area 631,300 hectares; and has a coastline of 800 kilometers. Fuzhou in a marine monsoon climate of sub-tropical zone, has an annual temperature of 19.7 C. Fuzhou has a warm climate with no frosty and snowy days throughout the year.

Opening up and welcome Foreign Investment: Fuzhou has speeding up to invite foreign investors and attract more foreign funds while implementing the approved projects. In parts of expediting the opening up to outside world, Fuzhou International Merchants Month, Fuzhou Merchants Special Fair, Xiamen Trade Fair, and Agricultural Merchants Trade Fair were held yearly.

Xiamen Special Economic Zone: Xiamen is the first early opening one of the five Special Economic Zone in China. Located in the south part of the Fujian Province and west bank of the Taiwan Strait, Xiamen is a well-known seaport tourist city along China's southeast coast. It has a territory of 1,516 square kilometers and a population of 1.3 million. In Xiamen, there are three investment zones for Taiwan investors and one tax - free zone. So far, Xiamen has approved more than 4,000 foreign investment projects, and over 3,000 sino-foreign joint venture enterprises by now.
