- Wuhan is Capital of Hubei Province in the geographical middle of China, in the eastern part of the province and on between of the Yangtze River and Hanjiang River. Wuhan is divided by the two rivers into three parts - Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang, which always been called "Wuhan's three Towns". The city covers an area of 8,549 square kilometers, in which including 2,137 sq. km. of water area and 864 sq. km. of urban area. The city has a population of 7.25 millions.

Rapidly Developed Economy: Wuhan is grasping opportunities and working hard to improve conditions to attract more foreign investment since it opening window to overseas investors. By the recent years, the city has approved about 5,000 enterprises in the three forms of ventures - Sino-foreign joint-ventures, Sino-foreign cooperation and solely foreign funded ventures. The large projects by foreign corporations and financial groups played an important role in boosting the city's economy, especially, two state-level large industrial projects of Donghu new high-tech development zone and Tunkou economic technological development zone which has attracting a great number of foreign investors. Wuhan owns the functions of coastal cities, and along with the development of whole Yangtze River economic Belt and the construction of the Three Gorge Dam, the city will have brighter prospects for economic development with no doubt.
