JIANGSU - Nanjing is Capital of Jiangsu Province, it links the vast Jianghuai Plain in the north and the rich Yangtze River Delta in the east, at the eastern part of China. The city covers 6,516 square kilometers. It has total population of 5.35 millions. Nanjing is one of China's well-known scenic spots and tourist attractions as well as a state historic and cultural city. The Yangtze River flows 95 kilometers through the city. Nanjing belongs to subtropical humid climate, the annual average temperature of 16C. Nanjing is rich of natural resources and has more than 40 minerals.

Transportation and Telecommunication: Nanjing is a transportation and telecommunication hub in east China and has air, railway, highway and water transport means forming a modern transportation network, and the newly built Nanjing - Shanghai expressway, it is much more convenient for traveler and cargo transportation. The Lukou International Airport has been opened to service international passengers. Nanjing port is the largest inland river port in China.

Rapidly of Economic Development: Nanjing's major industries range from iron, steel, automobile, oil refinery, cement, chemicals, machine tools to electronics; and prtro-chemicals, biological pharmaceutical engineering. The city has nine development zones. Nanjing have developed and entered into the state central wholesales markets.

Economic Development Other Cities in Jaingsu Province: Nantong city, Zhangjiagang city, and Suzhou city, those cities are opening to outside world to attracting foreign investments. Those cities' Economic and Technology Development Zones were established and operated well. As well Suzhou city has positively carried out the strategy of "vitalizing the city with science and education" to pave the way for its economic development. The city has been chosen as one of China's counties advanced in science and technology, one of the country's top 100 counties rich in science and technology.
