| QINGHAI - Xining is located in the east part and is the Capital of Qinghai Province, it also is the important entrance of transport and commercial pass between of Tibetan and Chinese inland. The city has an area of 350 square kilometers and with totaled population of 695,000, including 586,700 of urban residents. Economic and Industries Development: The Xining city is a developing city, its main industries are woolen springing and textiles, fur, native products such meat, milk, salt, and light processing industries. Golmud City is the largest city of the Qinghai province, and
located in the hinterland of Qingzang highland, in the Qinghai province.
The city covers a total area of 135,400 square kilometers. The city
has a population generally stood at 200,000. The mineral distributions
are concentrated in near by the city, which is barely chemical industry's
source of raw materials in China. Golmud Kunlun Economic Development
Zone consisted an area of 28 square kilometers, was built in 1992. There
were 300 projects introduced and more than 150 industrial and commercial
enterprises that had registered and under operation. |
